As the year comes to an end (goodbye 2010, HEL-LO 2011!), I wanted to leave you with an image of my nephew, Owen, from my trip home to Minnesota for Christmas that puts a BIG smile on my face.
Every year on Christmas morning (this year it was Christmas Eve), my brother makes homemade Belgian waffles. This is Owen anxiously awaiting his waffle, only to discover--upon opening the waffle maker--that his waffle was a bit too crispy for his liking. Cutest pout I've ever seen :)
More pics of my niece and nephews to come soon.
HAVE A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!!! Let's make 2011 the best EVER, full of delicious waffles!

NYC Engagement: Katie and James
I LOVE that Katie and James wanted to go ice skating for their engagement session! We had a really good time running around Central Park, and making use of the few leaves that I can't believe still remain on the trees. Congratulations, you two, and good luck planning for your 2012 wedding!!
Thanks so much to Alex Strada for joining me on this shoot :)

NJ Wedding: Cathy and Tom
I was delighted to be a part of Tom and Cathy's Day as they tied the knot at Kirkpatrick Chapel on the Rutgers Campus and held their reception at The Imperia in Somerset, NJ. Big thanks to my second shooter, Jordan Van Aken--fantastic as usual :)

NYC Maternity: Julia and Mark
Julia is just about as adorable of a little pregnant lady as you can get. I love shooting maternity sessions SO much--and theirs reminded me why :)

NYC Wedding: Julie and Gary
I shot Julie and Gary's wedding last month for Jennifer Davis Photography in my absolute favorite part of Manhattan--the financial district. I just love the feeling when you walk down those curvy streets with the skyscrapers tucking you in on both sides. Very cool. The ceremony was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine and the reception was at Battery Gardens.
The event was beautifully put together by Sarah Pease and her amazing team at Brilliant Event Planning.
And a big, big thanks to my awesome second shooter, Jordan Van Aken.
Congratulations, Julie and Gary!
