Here is Meaghan, currently starring in the long-running play, 8 Women, an audience-inclusive, karoake, murder mystery extravaganza.  That's a mouthful.

Lorianna and Joel

Here are a few of my favorite images from Lorianna and Joel's wedding that I shot last month for Robert Rodriguez of Wedding Recap.  Lorianna was an EXTREMELY calm and collected bride--the whole day ran incredibly smoothly with plenty of time to spare (I can tell you that doesn't happen often!).  We also lucked out in the weather; there was a break before the thunderstorm that came an hour later for us to take a few shots in the park .  Best of luck to both of you!

This is Jason.  He's one half of the New York sketch comedy group, Rue Brutalia.  They perform here and in festivals all over the country.  Click here to watch him in a great video sketch.   This guy...

Way too cute.

An excited dad hoists up his baby boy for the family to take a few snapshots in front of the New York Stock Exchange.  He doesn't seem to mind heights (or silly hats).
Check out an image of mine that posted in an article for the Brooklyn Paper.  A friend of mine and the fundraising coordinator for the Filipino charity, Kamay at Puso, is pictured chowing down on a pork sandwich to inspire us for "the Park Slope Pork-Off" on Sunday, May 3.

The Cangelosi Cards

Last night I went to see a wonderful little jazz group that performs every Sunday night at Harefield Road in Williamsburg.  I wish I got the chance to see them every week--it's just like a jump back in time to the 1920's with a sound very much like good ol' Django Reinhardt.  They're called The Cangelosi Cards and they perform all over the city, so look them up!

How they really feel on Wall St...

I was shooting a headshot session in the Financial District this weekend and we wandered into an alley just off Wall Street for the good light that was streaming in.  I happened to see this busted up globe and just the idea of it struck me as one of the saddest things I've come across.  I think it's particularly interesting how it's lying next to an old discarded sock.

Thank you, flower vendor man at the Mirage Diner.

And thank you, too, my dear.

Kelonious Funk

A big thanks to my friend, Kelan, who so graciously allowed me to use up part of his day in having some photos taken with this great 70's look he's been rocking.

Here we have Carly, who I've already shown you in a previous post (you know, the ukulele-playing, song-writing, acting extraordinaire?)  These are a few of her favorites from her headshot session.

This is Tim.  You may have seen him on a recent Old Spice commercial playing opposite a young, ultra-nerdy version of NFL's Brian Urlacher.  Don't let the blonde wig fool you--it's Tim.  He's also a brilliantly hilarious member of New York's Murderfist, a raffish sketch comedy group taking the underground sketch scene by storm.
