Opera, Sculpture, Pizza, and Gelato

Well, this was a quick trip--4 days in Rome and 2 in Florence (plus a full 20 hours of flying roundtrip).  Although short, a week was enough time to realize how gorgeous Italy truly is.  It gives you an entirely new idea of what history means--ancient Roman ruins where Julius Caesar and Marc Antony once stood,  sculptures and stained glass envisioned and crafted by DaVinci and Donatello, opera, bridges, and--who could forget--lots and lots of gelato.  Here are some of my favorite shots.

Smoking Project, Continued

Casey, enjoying her morning cigarette.  I've also included a couple non-morning shots I've taken of this lady (thanks, Casey, for allowing me to post you in your au-naturale morning state!)

A Wedding: Ralph and Dana

Ralph and Dana are just the sweetest couple ever.  And on top of that, a couple of the sweetest people.  Their day was beautiful, and filled with family and friends to make it even better.  I shot their wedding in mid-April for Robert Rodrieguez of Wedding Recap.  Being Italian, the food all day (and I do mean ALL day) was to die for, and there was plenty of it.  We had enough spare time after the ceremony to make a trip out to the Coney Island boardwalk, and it was a gorgeous day for it.  Thanks so much, Ralph and Dana, and best of luck to both of you!
