This past Saturday I assisted and shot for Jen Davis at Madeline and Eric's beautiful wedding. They had the entire affair at the Harold Pratt House on Park Ave and 68th. Eric and Madeline came all the way from Seattle to get married here in New York because they're so in love with the liveliness and diversity of the city. And I'm in love with the liveliness on their dance floor that night! It was a gorgeous day.
This is Carly, a fabulously beautiful actress/comedienne who came to me for headshots last week. During her session, we played around a bit and did a few more creative portraits. She very recently took up the ukulele and, I must say, plays (and sings) like an angel.
This is Ed, comedic writer and performer in New York's sketch comedy sensation, Murderfist. If you ever find yourself in New York and feel up to seeing something hilarious, definitely check them out--they perform often and enthusiastically. I promise, you'll never see a show like it.
I decided to take advantage of our sunny day (albeit cold as he*%) to reconnect with those crazy compositional elements that make up the lovely neighborhood of Ridgewood, NY.
Here are a few images I shot for the Waterstone Grill, a fabulous fine-dining restaurant located just off Wall St. in the financial district. Side note: the Seafood Risotto is amazing!
Pictured here are general manager, Johnny Flores, and executive chef, Chad Tibbetts.
I’m Jenny Boyle Penney. I tell peoples’ stories.
I live in Seattle, WA, and I enthusiastically accept commissions on both the east and west coast, as well as destinations--so don't hesitate to drop me a line anytime if you like what you see!
This blog is meant to showcase my recent work, but if you're interested in hiring me for a project, don't forget to check out my main website at www.jenniferboylephotography.com.
